AKUD Mika Mitrovć - Jarac

AKUD „Mika Mitrović – Jarac“ organizuje koncert namenjen prvenstveno studentima, a zatim i svim ostalim zainteresovanima, 23. decembra 2011. godine u Domu Kulture „Studentski Grad“, Bulevar Zorana Đinđića 179, Novi Beograd, sa početkom u 20 časova. Ulaz na događaj je slobodan.

Prednovogodišnji koncert za studente za cilj ima obogaćenje kulturne ponude dostupne studentima Beogradskog Univerziteta, kao i predstavljanje tradicionalnih narodnih običaja, pesama i igara. Ovo će biti svojevrsna prilika da članovi AKUD „Mika Mitrović - Jarac“ prikažu neke od najlepših koreografija iz različitih krajeva Srbije. Svaka koreografija nosi pečat starih vremena, specifičnu nošnju koja se vezuje za određeni grad ili mesto, kao i karakterističan način pesme i igre.

Događaj je dodatno značajan stoga što AKUD „MMJ“ sledeće godine slavi 65. godina postojanja, te predstavlja uvod i u proslavu tradicije samog Društva.

Our doors are open to all of you who want to make new friends, travel the world through dance and laughter and learn the meaning of the collective force, express themselves and gain useful habits and guidelines to help you in your future endeavors.

On September 22, 2011 Akud "Mika Mitrović Jarac" performed at the White Palace in Belgrade, Serbia for the opening of the Serbian Diaspora Medical Conference 2011. These dancers had the opportunity to show foreign and domestic doctors that not only can they be great students in their studies, but also be professional dancers. Special guest doctors from Greece, Sweden, Australia, America, Germany, and Austria where so amazed at the rich culture and tradition kept by these students. Such art and culture is seen through their dancing and singing.

The folk ensemble AKUD “Mika Mitrović - Jarac” appeared in Barcelona 27 August- 7Sept 2011, where they represented Serbia for the first time in the festival “International Folklore Encounters of Catalonia.” AKUD “Mika Mitrović-Jarac” joined other prominent folkdance ensembles from Colombia, Indonesia, Togo and the Russian republic of Buryatia. Members of the ensemble, “AKUD Mika Mitrović-Jarac” performed folk dances and folk songs from various areas of Serbia which are steeped rich artistic cultural traditions. The highlight-of this festival was performing in front of “The Cathedral of Santa Eulàlia”, the central square of Barcelona, for several thousand spectators. Gathered around the guiding principles of a multicultural community, in this hospitable Mediterranean country, sent a message, that tolerance and diversity connects all the folk-dance groups together.
